"flu found the imagination of our companies' risk

In a recently published book, A World jammed (Flammarion, 350 p., 21 €), Frédéric Keck , anthropologist CNRS examines how societies react to new health risks. :
"Our companies are not fundamentally different from savage societies, and they are preparing for future disasters by telling stories about people making up their environment. If the history of the pandemic works so well is because it touches very deeply on our relationship with nature and death. By
stories about disasters to come, our societies are becoming aware of their vulnerability and make stronger by integrating a growing number of actors - including animals and viruses. "
good reading
